Speech and language therapy
Therapies designed to improve communication skills involving speaking, problem solving, verbal expression, and/or resolving issues with swallowing and medication management.
Physical therapy
Focuses on mobility skills such as walking, overall balance, getting into or out of a bed or chair safely, and overall body strengthening.
Occupational therapy
Helps improve fine motor skills (primarily hands and upper body movements) that enable independence by accomplishing daily living tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Daithermy
This innovative treatment uses highfrequency electrical currents to stimulate better circulation, relieve pain, reduce bleeding and remove unhealthy tissue. This is often prescribed for muscle and joint conditions as part of the overall physical therapy program.
E-Stim Therapy
This program stimulates muscle recovery and growth by using gentle and painless electrical pulses through the skin, causing targeted muscle groups to contract and release in a controlled way. Often included in physical, occupational, or speech therapy programs.
VSTBalance

VitalStim® Therapy
VitalStim is the only technology cleared by the FDA to restore swallowing function, and can only be performed by a Speech Language Pathologist who has been certified in its use. The therapy uses small currents to reactivate muscles in the throat that control swallowing.
